Payment & EMI Policy

This Payment & EMI Policy (“Policy”) governs all payments made towards any training program, certification course, workshop, internship, bootcamp, online program, offline program, hybrid program, examination, subscription, membership, consultation, or any other educational service (“Services”) offered by D.R.D Security Private Limited (“Company”, “D.R.D Security”, “we”, “our”, or “us”).
By enrolling in any program, making any payment, paying an admission fee, reserving a seat, or accessing any educational resource provided by the Company, the student, parent, sponsor, organization, or any person making payment on behalf of the student (“Student”) expressly agrees to be legally bound by this Policy.
- Accepted Payment Methods
The Company accepts payments only through officially approved payment channels, including but not limited to:
- Bank Transfer (NEFT / RTGS / IMPS)
- UPI
- Debit Cards
- Credit Cards
- Net Banking
- Official Payment Gateway
- Approved EMI Partners
- Cash (only against an official receipt where legally permitted)
Payments made to any individual employee, trainer, representative, or third-party account without written authorization from the Company shall not be treated as valid payment to the Company.
The Company shall not be responsible for any payment made to unauthorized persons or unofficial accounts.
- Admission Confirmation
Admission shall be considered confirmed only when:
- The prescribed admission amount has been successfully received;
- Required documentation has been submitted;
- Verification has been completed by the Company; and
- An official admission confirmation has been issued.
The Company reserves the right to reject any admission without assigning any reason where permitted under applicable law.
- Course Fees
The applicable fee shall be the fee published or communicated by the Company on the date of admission.
Unless expressly stated otherwise in writing:
- GST and other applicable taxes shall be payable separately where applicable.
- Banking charges, payment gateway charges, forex charges, and transaction charges shall be borne by the Student whenever applicable.
- Promotional pricing, scholarships, discounts, or offers cannot be combined unless expressly approved in writing.
- EMI Facility
Where EMI is offered by the Company or its approved financing partner:
- EMI is only a payment convenience and does not reduce the total course fee.
- Every installment shall become due on the scheduled due date.
- The Student remains liable for payment irrespective of attendance, completion status, employment status, financial hardship, or personal circumstances.
- Failure to receive reminders shall not excuse delayed payment.
The Company may discontinue the EMI facility at any time upon default.
- Installment Schedule
The installment schedule shall be communicated in the Admission Letter, Fee Agreement, Invoice, or Enrollment Confirmation.
The Student agrees to pay every installment on or before its due date without demand or reminder from the Company.
Partial payments may be accepted solely at the Company’s discretion and shall not constitute modification of the agreed payment schedule.
- Late Payment Charges
Failure to pay any installment on or before its due date shall constitute a payment default.
Unless otherwise specified in writing, the following charges shall apply:
- Late Payment Charge: ₹250 (Rupees Two Hundred Fifty Only) per calendar day for each overdue installment.
- All outstanding dues shall continue until fully paid.
The Company reserves the right to revise late payment charges for future admissions.
Acceptance of delayed payment shall not constitute waiver of any default.
- Suspension Due to Non-Payment
Without prejudice to any other legal remedy available to the Company, failure to pay any outstanding amount may result in immediate suspension of one or more of the following:
- Classroom access
- Online portal access
- Learning Management System (LMS)
- Study materials
- Recorded sessions
- Practical laboratories
- Internal assessments
- Assignments
- Mentorship
- Doubt sessions
- Certification eligibility
- Internship eligibility
- Placement assistance
- Career support
- Student ID privileges
- Community access
- Any other academic services
Such suspension shall remain effective until all outstanding dues are cleared.
- Withholding of Academic Services
Where any payment remains outstanding, the Company may lawfully withhold, to the extent permitted by applicable law:
- Course Completion Certificate
- Internship Certificate
- Experience Certificate
- Recommendation Letter
- Transcript
- Marksheet
- Attendance Record
- Placement Support
- Verification Requests
- Alumni Benefits
- Any pending deliverables
until all financial obligations have been discharged.
- Recovery of Outstanding Dues
The Student acknowledges that all unpaid fees constitute a legally recoverable debt.
In the event of continued payment default, the Company reserves the right to initiate appropriate recovery measures permitted under Indian law, including:
- Issuance of legal demand notices;
- Recovery proceedings before appropriate civil courts or competent legal forums;
- Recovery of contractual dues together with permissible legal costs, court fees, and recovery expenses where awarded or recoverable under law.
The Student shall remain liable for all outstanding contractual obligations until fully discharged.
- Returned Payments
Where any payment is:
- dishonoured,
- reversed,
- disputed,
- charged back,
- declined,
- cancelled after confirmation,
the Student shall immediately remain liable for the unpaid amount together with any applicable bank charges, gateway charges, and contractual late payment charges.
- No Set-Off
The Student shall not withhold, deduct, adjust, or set off any payment against any claim unless expressly agreed by the Company in writing.
- Scholarships and Discounts
Scholarships, promotional discounts, fee concessions, referral benefits, and special offers:
- are discretionary;
- may be withdrawn in case of breach of Company policies;
- shall automatically lapse upon material payment default unless otherwise approved in writing.
- Refunds
Refunds, where applicable, shall be governed exclusively by the Company’s separate Refund Policy.
Nothing contained in this Policy shall create any automatic entitlement to a refund.
- Payment Records
The official records maintained by the Company’s finance department shall be treated as the primary record of payment, subject to applicable law.
Students are advised to preserve all invoices, receipts, UTR numbers, and transaction references.
- Changes to Fee Structure
The Company reserves the right to revise fees for future admissions, new batches, or newly introduced programs.
Such revisions shall not affect fees already contractually agreed for an existing enrollment unless otherwise permitted by law or agreed in writing.
- Force Majeure
The Company shall not be liable for any delay or interruption caused by events beyond its reasonable control, including natural disasters, pandemics, cyber incidents, governmental actions, internet outages, strikes, war, civil disturbances, or other force majeure events.
Payment obligations already accrued shall continue unless otherwise required by applicable law.
- Governing Law and Jurisdiction
This Policy shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India.
Subject to applicable law, the courts having territorial jurisdiction over Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh, shall have exclusive jurisdiction over disputes arising from or relating to this Policy.
- Policy Acceptance
By making any payment, enrolling in any program, signing the admission form, accepting an invoice, paying an admission fee, using EMI facilities, or continuing to access the Company’s educational services, the Student confirms that they have:
- Read this Payment & EMI Policy in its entirety;
- Understood its contents;
- Voluntarily accepted all obligations contained herein; and
- Agreed to comply with this Policy as a legally binding contractual document.
Failure to read this Policy shall not exempt the Student from its applicability.
