This Legal Disclaimer (“Disclaimer”) governs the access to and use of all courses, training programs, workshops, laboratories, webinars, boot camps, certifications, assessments, educational content, software, tools, documentation, virtual laboratories, and related services (collectively referred to as the “Training Services”) provided by D.R.D Security Private Limited (“Company”, “D.R.D Security”, “we”, “our”, or “us”) through its Training Wing, website, learning management system, mobile applications, physical training centres, partner institutions, and any other associated platform.

By accessing, enrolling in, purchasing, downloading, attending, or using any Training Services, the user (“Student”, “Participant”, “User”, “Learner”, or “You”) expressly acknowledges, agrees, and accepts this Disclaimer without limitation or qualification.

  1. Educational Purpose Only

All Training Services are developed and delivered solely for lawful educational, academic, research, awareness, skill development, professional training, and defensive cybersecurity purposes.

The Company does not provide, encourage, endorse, promote, facilitate, finance, authorize, or approve any illegal, malicious, unethical, unauthorized, offensive, or criminal cyber activity.

Nothing contained in the Training Services shall be interpreted as granting any authority, licence, permission, immunity, or legal defence to perform any activity prohibited under applicable law.

  1. No Authorization for Illegal Activities

The User expressly agrees that all knowledge, techniques, demonstrations, laboratory exercises, proof-of-concepts, scripts, source code, exploitation methodologies, penetration testing procedures, malware analysis techniques, digital forensic procedures, reverse engineering concepts, wireless security methods, cloud security assessments, mobile security assessments, web application testing, API testing, social engineering awareness exercises, or any other cybersecurity-related material shall only be used:

  • on systems personally owned by the User;
  • on systems for which the User possesses prior written authorization;
  • within Company-authorized laboratory environments;
  • within legally sanctioned Capture-the-Flag (CTF) platforms;
  • within bug bounty programs operating under published scope;
  • within environments expressly permitted under applicable law.

Any use beyond the above shall be solely at the User’s own risk and responsibility.

  1. Strict Prohibition of Unlawful Conduct

The User shall not use any knowledge acquired through the Training Services to:

  • gain unauthorized access to any computer, server, network, cloud infrastructure, website, application, database, API, device, mobile phone, email account, wireless network, digital system, or electronic resource;
  • develop, distribute, deploy, or execute malware, ransomware, spyware, trojans, worms, botnets, or malicious software;
  • conduct phishing, spoofing, credential theft, identity theft, cyber fraud, financial fraud, extortion, denial-of-service attacks, ransomware attacks, or cyber terrorism;
  • intercept communications without lawful authority;
  • violate contractual obligations or organizational security policies;
  • infringe intellectual property rights;
  • compromise privacy or confidentiality;
  • violate any statute, regulation, judicial order, government notification, or lawful direction.

Any such conduct is strictly prohibited.

  1. Compliance with Indian Laws

The User shall at all times comply with all applicable laws of India, including but not limited to:

  • The Information Technology Act, 2000 and all amendments;
  • The Information Technology (Reasonable Security Practices and Procedures and Sensitive Personal Data or Information) Rules, 2011;
  • The Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023;
  • The Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, 2023;
  • The Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023;
  • The Bharatiya Sakshya Adhiniyam, 2023;
  • The Copyright Act, 1957;
  • The Trade Marks Act, 1999;
  • Any directions, notifications, advisories, rules, regulations, or circulars issued by CERT-In, MeitY, RBI, SEBI, or any competent authority.

Where the User accesses the Training Services from outside India, the User shall also comply with all applicable local laws of the relevant jurisdiction.

  1. Individual Responsibility

The User bears sole, absolute, exclusive, and continuing responsibility for every action performed using the knowledge acquired through the Training Services.

The Company shall neither supervise nor monitor how such knowledge is subsequently applied outside Company-controlled environments.

The Company expressly disclaims responsibility for any misuse by any User.

  1. No Professional, Legal or Government Authorization

Completion of any course, certification, assessment, workshop, internship, or training program:

  • does not constitute a government licence;
  • does not authorize penetration testing;
  • does not authorize digital investigations;
  • does not authorize forensic examination;
  • does not authorize surveillance;
  • does not confer police powers;
  • does not confer legal authority;
  • does not confer regulatory approval.

Users must independently obtain every permission required by applicable law before performing any assessment or investigation.

  1. No Guarantee of Employment

Enrollment in any course shall not constitute, imply, or create:

  • employment;
  • internship;
  • apprenticeship;
  • placement;
  • recruitment;
  • government employment;
  • corporate employment;
  • consulting engagement;
  • contractual engagement.

The Company makes no representation, warranty, promise, assurance, or guarantee that any User shall obtain employment, promotion, salary increment, interview opportunity, internship, freelancing work, or business opportunity.

Employment outcomes depend upon numerous factors beyond the Company’s control, including individual competence, market demand, employer requirements, educational qualifications, background verification, communication skills, location, economic conditions, and recruitment policies.

  1. No Guarantee of Income or Earnings

The Company does not guarantee that the User will:

  • earn any income;
  • recover course fees;
  • obtain freelancing projects;
  • generate business revenue;
  • secure bug bounty rewards;
  • receive consulting assignments;
  • establish a cybersecurity business;
  • obtain clients;
  • achieve financial success.

Any examples, illustrations, case studies, testimonials, salary figures, earning projections, placement statistics, success stories, or business examples are illustrative only and shall never be construed as guarantees of future performance.

  1. No Warranty

The Training Services are provided strictly on an “AS IS”, “AS AVAILABLE”, and “WITH ALL FAULTS” basis.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the Company expressly disclaims all warranties, whether express, implied, statutory, or otherwise, including but not limited to warranties relating to:

  • merchantability;
  • fitness for a particular purpose;
  • uninterrupted availability;
  • accuracy;
  • completeness;
  • reliability;
  • compatibility;
  • non-infringement;
  • continuous access;
  • error-free operation.
  1. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted under applicable law, D.R.D Security Private Limited, its directors, officers, shareholders, employees, faculty members, trainers, consultants, affiliates, licensors, partners, vendors, volunteers, representatives, successors, and assigns shall not be liable for any:

  • direct loss;
  • indirect loss;
  • incidental damages;
  • consequential damages;
  • punitive damages;
  • exemplary damages;
  • special damages;
  • loss of reputation;
  • business interruption;
  • loss of opportunity;
  • loss of profits;
  • loss of contracts;
  • cyber incidents;
  • legal proceedings;
  • regulatory action;

arising directly or indirectly from the use, misuse, interpretation, implementation, or reliance upon the Training Services or any knowledge obtained therefrom.

Where liability cannot legally be excluded, the maximum aggregate liability of the Company shall, to the fullest extent permissible under Indian law, be limited to the actual tuition fee paid by the User for the specific Training Service giving rise to the claim.

  1. Indemnity

The User irrevocably agrees to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless D.R.D Security Private Limited and its directors, officers, employees, trainers, consultants, affiliates, licensors, successors, and assigns from and against any and all claims, proceedings, investigations, liabilities, penalties, fines, losses, damages, costs, and legal expenses (including reasonable advocate’s fees) arising from:

  • breach of this Disclaimer;
  • unlawful conduct;
  • misuse of training materials;
  • violation of applicable laws;
  • infringement of third-party rights;
  • unauthorized cybersecurity activities.
  1. Intellectual Property

All course materials, manuals, presentations, videos, laboratories, source code, exercises, graphics, trademarks, logos, documentation, methodologies, and educational content are protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

No User shall reproduce, copy, record, distribute, publish, upload, sell, sublicense, modify, reverse engineer, commercially exploit, or create derivative works without prior written authorization from the Company.

  1. Reservation of Rights

The Company reserves the absolute and unrestricted right, without prior notice, to:

  • suspend or terminate access;
  • remove Users from any program;
  • cancel certifications;
  • refuse admission;
  • initiate civil proceedings;
  • initiate criminal complaints;
  • cooperate with law enforcement agencies;
  • report unlawful conduct to competent authorities.
  1. Severability

If any provision of this Disclaimer is held invalid, illegal, or unenforceable by a court of competent jurisdiction, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.

  1. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

This Disclaimer shall be governed by and construed exclusively in accordance with the laws of the Republic of India.

Any dispute arising out of or relating to this Disclaimer or the Training Services shall be subject exclusively to the jurisdiction of the competent courts situated at Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh, India, and the parties irrevocably submit to such jurisdiction.

By accessing or using the Training Services, the User confirms that:

  • the User has carefully read this Disclaimer;
  • the User understands its legal consequences;
  • the User voluntarily accepts all terms herein;
  • the User agrees to comply with all applicable laws;
  • the User assumes full responsibility for all actions undertaken using the knowledge acquired through the Training Services.

Failure to agree with this Disclaimer requires the User to immediately discontinue access to the Training Services.
