- Purpose
This Code of Conduct (“Code”) establishes the mandatory standards of professional behavior, ethics, discipline, safety, cybersecurity, and legal compliance applicable to every student, trainee, intern, participant, visitor, guest, faculty member, mentor, volunteer, and representative (“Participant”) associated with the D.R.D Security Pvt. Ltd. Training Wing.
Enrollment in any training program, workshop, seminar, bootcamp, internship, webinar, laboratory session, certification program, examination, community, or event constitutes unconditional acceptance of this Code. Every Participant agrees to comply with all applicable laws of India and all institutional policies issued by D.R.D Security Pvt. Ltd.
Ignorance of this Code shall not be accepted as a defense against disciplinary proceedings.
- Scope
This Code applies to all activities conducted by D.R.D Security Pvt. Ltd., including but not limited to:
- Online live classes
- Offline classroom sessions
- Practical laboratory sessions
- Cybersecurity labs
- Digital forensics laboratories
- Examinations
- Assignments
- Workshops
- Seminars
- Conferences
- Hackathons
- Capture The Flag (CTF) competitions
- Research activities
- Internship programs
- Placement activities
- Discord servers
- WhatsApp Communities
- Telegram Groups
- Slack
- Microsoft Teams
- Google Meet
- Zoom
- LMS portals
- Student portals
- Email communications
- Social media groups officially managed by D.R.D Security Pvt. Ltd.
- Any official or unofficial gathering representing the organization.
The Code remains applicable before, during, and after the completion of any course wherever the conduct directly affects D.R.D Security Pvt. Ltd., its employees, students, partners, reputation, infrastructure, or community.
- Legal Compliance
Every Participant shall strictly comply with all applicable laws of India, including but not limited to:
- Information Technology Act, 2000 and amendments
- Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, 2023
- Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023
- Bharatiya Sakshya Adhiniyam, 2023
- Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023
- Copyright Act, 1957
- Trade Marks Act, 1999
- Indian Contract Act, 1872
- Consumer Protection Act, 2019
- Any applicable Cyber Crime, Intellectual Property, Privacy, Electronic Evidence, and Criminal Laws.
Violation of any applicable law may result in disciplinary action independent of any criminal or civil proceedings initiated by competent authorities.
- Professional Conduct
Every Participant shall:
- Conduct themselves professionally.
- Maintain honesty and integrity.
- Respect faculty members, mentors, staff, guests, and fellow students.
- Follow lawful instructions issued by authorized representatives.
- Maintain punctuality.
- Preserve institutional discipline.
- Avoid conduct prejudicial to the reputation of D.R.D Security Pvt. Ltd.
- Online Class Rules
Participants shall:
- Join classes using their real identity.
- Maintain appropriate dress and professional appearance whenever video participation is required.
- Keep microphones muted unless instructed.
- Refrain from disruptive behavior.
- Attend from a safe and appropriate environment.
- Avoid background noise.
- Not impersonate another individual.
- Not share meeting credentials with unauthorized persons.
- Follow faculty instructions at all times.
- Offline Classroom Rules
Participants shall not:
- Disturb classroom proceedings.
- Use abusive language.
- Engage in physical misconduct.
- Damage institutional property.
- Carry prohibited items.
- Enter restricted areas without authorization.
- Consume alcohol, narcotics, or intoxicating substances.
Professional behavior is mandatory throughout the premises.
- Laboratory Conduct
Cybersecurity laboratories are educational environments.
Participants shall not:
- Attack production systems.
- Attack third-party infrastructure.
- Scan external networks without authorization.
- Deploy malware outside controlled environments.
- Exfiltrate data.
- Abuse laboratory resources.
- Modify institutional infrastructure.
- Install unauthorized software.
- Tamper with laboratory equipment.
Only authorized laboratory exercises shall be performed.
- Examination Integrity
The following acts constitute academic misconduct:
- Cheating
- Impersonation
- Copying
- Plagiarism
- Unauthorized collaboration
- Use of AI tools where prohibited
- Sharing examination materials
- Recording examinations
- Screen sharing without permission
- Use of unauthorized electronic devices
- Attempting to manipulate examination systems
Violation may result in immediate disqualification.
- Community Guidelines
This Code applies to all official:
- Discord Servers
- WhatsApp Groups
- Telegram Channels
- Student Communities
- Discussion Forums
- Social Media Communities
Participants shall not:
- Abuse members.
- Use offensive language.
- Harass individuals.
- Promote hate speech.
- Promote discrimination.
- Spread misinformation.
- Share pornography.
- Share obscene material.
- Share violent content.
- Advertise unauthorized services.
- Conduct political campaigns.
- Conduct religious propaganda.
- Spam messages.
- Share malware.
- Share phishing links.
- Share pirated software.
- Share cracked software.
- Share stolen credentials.
- Leak confidential information.
- Circumvent moderation.
Community administrators retain absolute discretion to remove content violating institutional policies.
- Anti-Harassment Policy
D.R.D Security Pvt. Ltd. maintains zero tolerance for:
- Sexual harassment
- Bullying
- Cyberbullying
- Intimidation
- Threats
- Blackmail
- Stalking
- Defamation
- Doxxing
- Identity theft
- Discrimination based on gender, religion, caste, disability, nationality, age, or any legally protected characteristic.
Violations may result in immediate removal and referral to law enforcement agencies.
- Intellectual Property Protection
All course materials including but not limited to:
- Videos
- Notes
- PDFs
- Presentations
- Software
- Scripts
- Source Code
- Lab Files
- Research Material
- Documentation
- Assessments
- Examination Papers
- Question Banks
- Recordings
remain the exclusive intellectual property of D.R.D Security Pvt. Ltd. unless otherwise stated.
Participants shall not:
- Copy
- Redistribute
- Upload
- Sell
- Record
- Publish
- Reproduce
- Modify
- Reverse engineer
- Commercially exploit
any proprietary material without prior written authorization.
Legal action may be initiated against infringers.
- Confidentiality
Participants shall maintain strict confidentiality regarding:
- Internal discussions
- Research projects
- Client information
- Investigation data
- Laboratory configurations
- Security procedures
- Internal software
- Examination material
- Credentials
- Infrastructure details
Unauthorized disclosure constitutes serious misconduct.
- Cybersecurity Ethics
Participants shall use acquired knowledge solely for lawful and ethical purposes.
Activities including but not limited to:
- Unauthorized hacking
- Credential theft
- Phishing
- Malware deployment
- Data theft
- Ransomware
- Identity theft
- Financial fraud
- Social engineering attacks
- Illegal surveillance
are strictly prohibited.
Training provided by D.R.D Security Pvt. Ltd. shall never be interpreted as authorization to engage in unlawful activities.
- Photography, Recording and Media
No Participant shall:
- Record lectures.
- Record laboratory sessions.
- Photograph confidential material.
- Livestream institutional activities.
- Publish internal content.
- Record faculty without permission.
- Record fellow students without consent.
Written authorization must be obtained before any recording.
- Drugs, Alcohol and Prohibited Substances
Possession, consumption, distribution, or influence of alcohol, narcotic drugs, psychotropic substances, tobacco products where prohibited, vaping devices where prohibited, or any intoxicating substance within institutional premises or during official events is strictly prohibited.
- Property Damage
Participants shall be liable for:
- Damage to equipment
- Damage to computers
- Damage to networking infrastructure
- Damage to furniture
- Damage to laboratory assets
- Damage to software
- Damage to institutional property
The institution reserves the right to recover the full cost of repair or replacement together with any consequential losses.
- Dress Code
Participants shall maintain professional attire appropriate to the nature of the training, examination, laboratory session, corporate visit, or official event.
Attire containing offensive, obscene, hateful, discriminatory, or unlawful content is prohibited.
- Identity Verification
Participants may be required to verify identity before:
- Examinations
- Certifications
- Practical assessments
- Internship activities
- Placement activities
- Restricted laboratory access
Failure to establish identity may result in denial of participation.
- Investigation of Misconduct
D.R.D Security Pvt. Ltd. reserves the right to:
- Conduct internal investigations.
- Collect evidence.
- Review digital logs.
- Preserve electronic records.
- Obtain witness statements.
- Restrict access pending inquiry.
- Cooperate with law enforcement agencies.
Institutional decisions shall be final unless otherwise provided by applicable law.
- Disciplinary Actions
Depending upon the nature and severity of misconduct, one or more of the following actions may be imposed:
- Verbal warning
- Written warning
- Monetary penalties where legally permissible
- Suspension
- Temporary account restriction
- Permanent removal from online communities
- Cancellation of laboratory access
- Examination cancellation
- Course termination
- Internship termination
- Certification cancellation
- Placement disqualification
- Blacklisting from future programs
- Forfeiture of certificates where legally permissible
- Recovery of financial losses
- Civil proceedings
- Criminal complaint before appropriate authorities
- Reporting to law enforcement agencies
Disciplinary measures may be implemented immediately where institutional safety, cybersecurity, or legal compliance requires urgent action.
- Zero-Tolerance Violations
The following may result in immediate expulsion without prior warning:
- Unauthorized hacking of institutional systems
- Credential theft
- Data theft
- Distribution of malware
- Examination fraud
- Identity impersonation
- Sexual harassment
- Physical violence
- Criminal intimidation
- Extortion
- Distribution of pirated course material
- Deliberate reputational attacks through false allegations
- Unauthorized disclosure of confidential information
- Financial fraud
- Attempted compromise of institutional infrastructure
Where appropriate, the matter may be referred to competent law enforcement authorities.
- Reservation of Rights
D.R.D Security Pvt. Ltd. reserves the absolute right to:
- Interpret this Code.
- Amend this Code without prior notice.
- Introduce additional institutional policies.
- Modify disciplinary procedures.
- Restrict access to institutional resources.
- Suspend or terminate participation whenever necessary to protect institutional interests or ensure compliance with applicable law.
- Limitation
Nothing contained in this Code shall restrict D.R.D Security Pvt. Ltd. from exercising any additional contractual, statutory, civil, criminal, or equitable remedies available under the laws of India.
- Governing Law and Jurisdiction
This Code shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of India.
Any dispute arising out of or relating to this Code shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts located in Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh, unless otherwise required by applicable law.
- Acceptance
By registering, enrolling, attending, accessing any course, joining any official communication channel, participating in any laboratory, examination, internship, workshop, seminar, competition, community, or event conducted by D.R.D Security Pvt. Ltd., every Participant acknowledges that they have read, understood, and agreed to be legally bound by this Code of Conduct and all associated institutional policies.
