D.R.D Security follows fair corporate refund rules based on transparency, service delivery, and digital product compliance under:
- Consumer Protection Act, 2019
- E-Commerce Rules, 2020
- Industry best practices
Refunds are processed only under genuine, verifiable conditions.
2. Refund Policy by Division
A) D.R.D Training Wing (Courses, Classes, Certifications)
Refund Eligible
Refund can be issued if:
- Duplicate payment made
- Course access not provided
- Technical issues preventing access (verified by support)
- Course withdrawn or cancelled by D.R.D Security
Refund Not Eligible
- If course has been accessed or partially completed
- If certificate has been issued
- After 3 days of enrollment
- For downloaded digital products, notes, videos
- For subscription-based training beyond the used period
Course Transfer
Learners may request course transfer instead of refund.
B) D.R.D Investigation Wing
Refund Not Applicable
Due to the nature of investigation services, once work begins:
- No refund is provided
- Fees cover time, expertise & legal documentation
- Refund only if NO work started or duplicate payment
C) D.R.D Cyber Defense – Services
Refund Eligible
Only if:
- Service not initiated
- No reports handed over
- Duplicate payment
Refund Not Eligible
- After investigation/audit begins
- After preliminary report delivered
D) D.R.D Global Community & Membership
Refund Not Eligible
- Membership fees are non-refundable
- Event fees refundable ONLY if event cancelled by DRD
E) D.R.D E-Sport (Gaming Tournaments)
Refund Eligible
- Event cancelled
- Duplicate payment
- Incorrect payment entry
Refund Not Eligible
- Player disqualification
- No-show during event
- Completed tournament participation
F) D.R.D Café
Refund Eligible
- Wrong item delivered
- Payment deducted but order not placed
- Quality issue validated by staff
Refund Not Eligible
- Consumed items
- Delayed orders due to external factors
3. Refund Process Timeline
- Domestic Payments: 5–7 working days
- International Payments: 10–14 working days
- UPI/Wallet: 2–4 days
Refunds are always processed to the original payment method only.
4. Order Cancellation Rules
Cancellation requests must be made before:
- Course access is granted
- Investigation or cyber audit begins
- Event registration closes
- Tournament begins
